As one of Malta's leading florists, we are always looking for new talent to join our experienced team of florists. As floristry is our main operation within the business the chosen candidate will mainly be responsible for creating unique floral designs which abide by the Alistair brand as well as high-quality standards. Due to an increase in demand for during calendar year events and the wedding season we are looking to expand our team of florists.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Watering plants, cut, condition and clean flowers/foliage
• Create beautiful floral designs including bouquets and arrangements (artificial and fresh)
• Maintaining a clean workshop with routine up keeping
• Creating florals for the website, telephone and walk-in clients
• Working on various different floral designs including hotel lobbies, corporate events, weddings and more.
• Ensuring that all florals created are as per our brand guidelines and quality standards.
• Brainstorming on new floral design concepts and ideas for new website bouquets and arrangements.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Ability to work under pressure due to floral occasions and tight deadlines (weddings, valentine's, mother's day, etc)
• Well organised and confident on various aspects and skills of floristry.
• Experience working in a similar role or floral knowledge.
• Creative, motivated and able to work with minimal to no supervision.
• Good command of English
